FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How can I get in touch with S&A Advisers?
You can contact us by sending your enquiry to info@sandaadvisers.co.uk. Please include brief details of your immigration matter so we can direct your query to the right adviser.

How do I book a consultation?
To book a consultation, please email us at info@sandaadvisers.co.uk with details of your immigration situation and the type of advice you require.

Let us know whether you prefer to speak directly with an adviser or receive a detailed written response by email.

Once we review your request, an adviser will send you a secure payment link for the consultation fee. When payment has been received, we will confirm a date and time for your one-to-one consultation (by phone or email).

Do I need to pay a consultation fee for follow-up enquiries or questions?
No, you are welcome to ask follow-up questions related to your original consultation at no extra cost. However, we reserve the right to charge an additional fee if it appears that our goodwill is being taken advantage of — for example, if repeated or unrelated queries result in significant additional work for the firm.

How long does it take for UKVI to make a decision on my application?
We have no control over how quickly the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) department processes applications. We can only provide the estimated processing times published on the official UKVI website. Please note that the actual decision time can vary depending on your individual circumstances, the complexity of your case, UKVI’s operational resources, and factors such as document verification or additional checks.

Do I need a solicitor or a barrister for my immigration matter?
This depends on your individual case. Regulated immigration advisers, authorised by the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC), are qualified to provide immigration advice and representation. However, not all advisers are permitted to handle every type of case. We recommend checking an adviser’s authorisation level on the official register before proceeding:

What does the flat service fee cover?
Our flat service fee is the agreed legal fee for handling your immigration matter from start to finish. It covers all professional work on your case until UKVI issues a decision.

Please note that our service fee does not include UKVI application fees or any optional additional services offered by UKVI (such as priority processing or courier fees). These are payable directly by the client.
